He has played a pioneering role in the Open Data movement in Ghent and Belgium, collaborating with like-minded innovators to advance transparency and accessibility through data. Thimo is currently deeply engaged in initiatives related to Data Spaces, exploring how data-sharing ecosystems can address societal and economic challenges.

He has been instrumental in driving innovation through various European and regional projects, demonstrating his passion for bringing people together to create impactful solutions.
