Pirita Ihamäki, Ph.D., M.Sc., is a dynamic and innovative Business Developer with a proven track record of fostering unique innovations and enhancing vitality within organisations. With an impressive career spanning 20 years in various development roles, she has honed her skills in leading digital business ecosystems and currently serves as the head of the Gamecoast network.

Dr. Ihamäki manages Robocoast’s international relationships with ECCP, EDIH, and DIH centers, overseeing ecosystem and networking services. Her mission is to bolster Europe’s innovation capacity, digital competitiveness, and green growth in collaboration with robust European Digital Innovation Hub networks. She is dedicated to enhancing the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises through ecosystem and networking services, both in Finland and across Europe.

Passionate about crafting fit-for-purpose international business and open innovation models, Dr. Ihamäki approaches her work from both strategic and operational perspectives. As a researcher, she focuses on service design and the value creation of digital innovation ecosystems. She recognises the growing need for research into emerging practices, developments, and the methodologies that enable, support, and drive these changes.
