MIMs Ambassador, OASC

Michael Mulquin is OASC’s MIMs ambassador, setting the stage for Minimal Interoperability Mechanisms and working with the ITU – the United Nation’s agency developing standards related to Information and Communications Technologies, to formalise the MIMs.

Michael is also the Chair of the Smart Cities Systems Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC); the WTO recognised organisation developing standards for electrical, electronic and related technologies, and Co-Chair of the IEC/ISO/ITU Joint Smart City Task Force.

He has spent nearly 30 years partnering with cities, rural areas and industry on how technology can help them work better.
