Project Manager Digital Transformation

Bieke Blauwblomme is a project manager in the digitalisation department of Intercommunale Leiedal, the regional intermunicipal organisation for South-West Flanders (Belgium). Over the past five years, she has been leading and supporting several European and Flemish-funded projects that drive the digital transformation of cities and municipalities in the region. Her work focuses on data-driven innovation in areas such as mobility (Interreg project Data for All), entrepreneurship (City of Things project LocusFocus and Interreg COM³), and connectivity, including initiatives on FTTH, municipal fibre networks, and fiber/5G connectivity for businesses (Interreg project CORA). As a new member of the Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) network, Bieke aims to foster new collaborations and partnerships that lead to sustainable and structural digital solutions improving life and work across South-West Flanders.
