Council of Cities Coordinator

Albert Engels is a senior process manager in the Department of Urban Development at the Municipality of Rotterdam. In addition to current experience in the public sector, Albert has worked for over 20 years in the private civil and building industry. This background provides Albert with a deep understanding of the importance of public-private collaboration, both nationally and internationally, to create more vibrant and livable cities – undoubtedly a privileged challenge. Albert holds a Master of Science in Building Engineering from the University of Eindhoven.
