Call for Host City OASConf 2028

Apply to host the OASC Annual Conference 2028

Applications close 21/10/2026

Since 2024, our Annual Conference has been hosted by an OASC member city rather than held in Brussels. It’s a chance to showcase your city’s digital transformation work – strengths and challenges alike – and to bring an international community to your doorstep. We welcome applications from all cities and municipalities, regardless of size, location or how far along you are.

How to apply

Send your application – maximum 3 pages, covering the criteria above – to contact@oascities.org by 21/10/2026.

Selection criteria

1. Accessibility & infrastructure

How easily can international visitors reach you? Give travel times from the airport and main station, transport options, frequencies and prices. Describe your venue: we need space for 130 people over two days – one plenary room, 5-7 breakout rooms, stable wifi, streaming capability and catering. Show that suitable hotels at a range of prices are nearby or easily reached.

2. Digital transformation

What have you achieved, what are you struggling with and where are you heading? What do you want to learn from the OASC community? Tell us why you want to host.

3. Conference hosting experience

Give two examples of similar events you’ve run or set out how you’d commit the people and budget.

4. Resources

Beyond staff time, the host city covers one evening dinner for 110 people, catering at the venue, venue rent and a photographer. Expect weekly meetings with the OASC conference team.

OASC contributes €12,500 plus a conference team, the conference website, speaker and attendee outreach and branding materials.
