Research Project Manager, Porto Digital
Joana Silva is a Research Project Manager at Porto Digital, where she has been contributing to the development and implementation of innovative digital initiatives since 2023. Her role focuses on advancing strategic projects that drive digital transformation and enhance the technological landscape of Porto.
Before joining Porto Digital, Joana briefly worked with the Câmara Municipal do Porto in the Information and Economic Strategy department, further deepening her expertise in municipal strategy and data-driven decision-making.
Earlier in her career, Joana was part of the Product Innovation team at MCMC, where she contributed to digital transformation and innovation projects in Matosinhos, Portugal. Her work involved fostering innovative solutions that align with regional economic and technological goals.
Joana also served as Vice President at SUNIporto, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership by managing sport and nutritional consulting services, organising events, and developing training initiatives. Her tenure included creating impactful in-person and digital programmes that aligned with the organisation’s mission of excellence.
Prior to this, Joana was the Head of the Project Development and Management Department at SUNIporto, where she spearheaded the development of core business projects, established partnerships with external entities, and oversaw social responsibility initiatives.
