Anders Winnerskjold is the Mayor of Aarhus, Denmark, a position he has held since November 2024. Born and raised in Aarhus, he has been a member of Aarhus City Council since 2018 and previously served as Alderman for Social Affairs and Employment from 2022 to 2024.

He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University and has been actively involved in local politics for several years. As Mayor, Winnerskjold is committed to making Aarhus a city for all stages of life, with a strong focus on inclusion, liveability and supporting citizens across different generations and backgrounds.
