Formerly known as OASC’s Interoperability Policy Navigation Group (IPoNG), we now join forces with United for Smart and Sustainable Cities (U4SSC), a United Nations initiative. A new Working Group, called Policy and Practice for Organisational Interoperability (PPOI), will launch on 26 February 2026.
We support cities and communities in addressing the non-technical interoperability challenges that often impede effective digital transformation. The Working Group focuses on organisational, governance, and institutional barriers such as fragmented mandates, siloed processes, limited cross-departmental coordination, and weak mechanisms for adoption and scaling.
We adopt a practical bottom-up approach based on cycles, beginning with the identification of a real-world challenge and ending it with co-developing actionable outputs to solve or mitigate such challenge – one at a time.
