Deep Dive #1 | How to coordinate your urban management platform? | Valter Neves Ferreira
Sala Panorâmica
This session will focus on the Lisbon Urban Management Platform (PGIL), a comprehensive digital tool that integrates real-time city data, analytics and artificial intelligence to support decision-making and urban monitoring. PGIL enables city administrators to visualise, analyse and respond to urban challenges across mobility, environment, quality of life and governance domains. The presentation will showcase how PGIL has been applied in practice, highlighting lessons learned, key innovations and the impact on the city’s digital transformation journey.
Deep Dive #2 | How to become an AI experimenting facility? | Jorge G. Coelho
Sala Gardunha
CitCom.ai is Europe’s Testing & Experimentation Facility (TEF) for AI and robotics in cities and communities. We help cities and innovators validate solutions in close-to-real conditions across three themes: POWER (energy & climate), MOVE (urban mobility & logistics) and CONNECT (local infrastructures & cross-sector services).
Our facilities combine real urban testbeds, shared data spaces, local digital twins, cybersecurity and trustworthy-AI methods, so cities can safely trial new services, while SMEs get faster from TRL6-8 to market. We’ll share what cities in Citcom are already testing, what worked, what didn’t, and why.
We also want to sound out interest from other cities to become future TEF locations or hosts of TEF experiments, and to capture motivations, prerequisites, and benefits (governance, funding, standards/interoperability, regulatory sandboxes, and other opportunities).
Deep Dive #3 | exPEDite LDT-CitiVerse Sandbox: A Virtual Living Lab for Stakeholder Engagement in Positive Energy Districts | Emilia Risu and Vincent Demortier
Sala Estrela
This deep dive focuses on the exPEDite LDT-CitiVerse sandbox as a virtual living lab for engaging stakeholders in the implementation of Positive Energy Districts.
Deep Dive #4 | Traffic Flow Data Space: Revolutionising Mobility Through Collaboration| João Bastos and Olli-Pekka Mattila
Sala Cereja
In this session, the Traffic Flow Data Space project, funded by DS4SSCC, will be presented. The session will outline the project’s objectives, its technical and governance developments, the challenges encountered so far during implementation, and the future perspectives for its evolution.
